The Immune Deficiency Foundation is generously offering scholarships to help reduce financial barriers related to travel and hotel costs. Anyone in our community is welcome to apply. Preference is given to those who are first-time attendees as well as those who self-report a financial need/barrier. Currently, scholarships are only available to U.S. residents. However, we strongly encourage families from around the world to apply as early as possible, as there is a possibility of scholarships opening up later. Please apply early as it is a first come, first served basis. To apply, please go to IDF Scholarships. Scholarship applications closes on March 31, 2026.
What does a scholarship for the 2026 National Conference cover?
· 2-night hotel accommodation and/or travel.
o Scholarship for travel costs only covers costs for the individual with PI or the individual and one parent (or guardian) if the patient is under 21.
· Hotel accommodation is one room (2- or 4-person occupancy).
o Individuals are welcome to extend their stay at their own expense, but still access our discounted room rate.
$359 + tax for run-of-house (ROH) rooms.
$399 + tax for guaranteed queen/queen rooms.
$359 + tax for accessible rooms.
· Discounted registration rate for awardee and any additional guests:

o Registration fees help to cover the cost of food and beverages during the conference.
· Applications for scholarships will open on November 17, 2025, and close on March 31, 2026. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, you’re encouraged to apply early. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. IDF may close the application prior to March 31 if targeted number of awardees is reached.
· Those accepting a scholarship must register for the conference and book their travel by May 1, 2026. Failure to complete these steps by this deadline will result in forfeiture of the scholarship. Scholarship is nontransferable.
The Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation will be providing a limited number of scholarships. To apply, please go to WAF Scholarships. Please apply early as it is a first come, first served process.
